A little about me, to hopefully ease any anxiety or uncertainty you may feel about starting therapy — I’m human, too. My background began in social work - graduating in 2014 from NDSU/Minot State University. I received my master's degree from Colorado State University in 2018 and have been working in the therapy world ever since.
I’ve spent my career working in foster care, medical and hospital settings, crisis centers, and substance use facilities—supporting people through some of life’s hardest moments. Along the way, I found my heart in trauma work, grief and loss, and addiction. I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals navigating anxiety, depression, medical needs/chronic pain, parenting support, woman's health - postpartum, OCD, stress, and life transitions. And FARMERS - I said it - because mental health matters whether you’re in scrubs, in survival mode, or out in the field before sunrise. Real life is heavy, and you don’t have to carry it alone.
I was raised on a farm in rural ND. I saw the meaning of hard work and will always value the experiences I received growing up in a farming community, but I also witnessed a barrier to rural communities accessing the mental health services they needed. I support the local rural communities of ND and MN through telehealth services and in office visits.
Therapy, to me, is about connection, compassion, and growth — meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you create the life you want and deserve!
